Rebecca joined Associated Family Physicians in spring 2006. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maine and has worked in both hospital settings and outpatient clinics.
Rebecca joined the Air Force in 1995 and was assigned to Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield. She served four years as an active duty Air Force nurse, working on an inpatient surgical unit at David Grant Medical Center.
After her discharge from the Air Force, Rebecca became a member of the Air Force Reserve. She continued to work at Travis as a civilian, delivering post anesthesia care to active duty dependents and retired military post-operative patients.
Rebecca earned her Master's of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner certification at Holy Names College in Oakland in 2003. In addition to her studies, she worked in a surgery clinic in Solano County.
She is particularly interested in helping patients achieve weight loss. She is an associate of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians and ran the weight loss program at New Dimensions Medical Group in Marysville.
Rebecca grew up on the New Jersey beaches and loves California -- "anything in or on the water," she says. Reading is her passion, especially biographies and historical fiction. Rebecca also enjoys movies and skiing. She is the mother of three grown sons.
