Devonne Ortiz, FNP In January 2011 Devonne Ortiz brought 16 years of registered nursing experience, nine of them in intensive care, to Associated Family Physicians.

She earned her nursing degree from San Joaquin Delta College in 1994, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix in 2007, and her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the same school three years later. While completing her nurse practitioner education, Devonne worked for Lodi Memorial Hospital in the surgical recovery room. She enjoys all aspects of family practice, especially pediatrics.

Devonne was raised in Galt, where her mother was a public school teacher for over 30 years. Devonne continues to live in Galt with her husband Jon, a journalist with the Sacramento Bee, and their two children.
